MA2 - PM&R - Massachusetts - Physician Needed - Director of Physiatry Needed in Central MA

Seeking a Director of Physiatry in our academic affiliated health care facility in Central MA. The position involves leading the Physiatry group practicing of 4. The position involves working closely and collaboratively with the other members of the team devoting approximately 10 - 15 hours per week to administrative duties. Ongoing areas of active participation include maximizing patient satisfaction, Compliance with RIG rule, management of close observation patients, ensure Physiatry participation in specialty accreditation programs including Brain injury, Stroke, and others. The Director will work closely with case management inside and outside of the formal team setting, fostering collaborative clinical team dynamics. Additionally the Director of Physiatry will participate in a clinical collaboration team whose aim is to further develop the flow of appropriate patients The position involves clinical and administrative presence on at least part of every day. Leadership experience preferred, but an aptitude and willingness to learn aspects of physician leadership is essential. Compensation: Base salary plus productivity incentives (MGMA and AAMC benchmarked). Robust physician benefit plan.
